Creighton had to wait an extra day then held on to complete a sweep of their Big East baseball series at Villanova.
The Blue Jays held on for a 6-5 win in a game they led 6-2 on Saturday heading to the top of the eighth inning when it was suspended due to darkness. The Wildcats scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning when play resumed on Sunday to make a game of it.
Keith Rogalla got the win on the mound for Creighton to improve to 5-2. The win lifted the Bluejays to 30-9 on the season and 8-1 in conference play, while Villanova fell to 15-28 overall and 3-9 in conference play.
