May 27, 2016 By Todd Kimm

cubsbCreighton rallied for a victory at the Big East Tournament. Helped out by three Seton Hall errors the Bluejays scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth for a 6-5 victory.

It featured a bizzare ending that saw Seton Hall closer Zach Schellenger uncork a wild pitch on an intentional walk to Creighton’s Nikky Lopez and Daniel Woodrow raced home with the winning run.

The Bluejays advance in the winners bracket to play top seeded Xavier tonight. Seton Hall will meet St. Johns this aftermnoon in an elimination game.
