A young Lincoln resident has been killed in a fiery one-car crash.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office reports 26-year-old Thomas Neeley died shortly after the wreck on Highway 2, under the Highway 43 bridge near Bennett.
According to the sheriff’s office, Neeley was traveling west on Highway 2 when his vehicle veered off the roadway into the grass medium, stuck the bridge pillar, and caught fire. Bystanders drug Neeley from the vehicle and administered first aid. Neeley was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the accident.
