There is a lot of excitement building for tonight’s Atlanta Hawks – Chicago Bulls exhibition game at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha.
Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority spokesperson Kristi Andersen says, “Not just because this is an NBA exhibition game which we haven’t had in town for a while but because of who is playing of course – Doug McDermott and Kyle Korver.”
The game is a sellout but at last check there were some standing room only tickets left. Fans are encouraged to arrive when the doors open at 5:30 p.m. Anderson says the NBA has requested extra security and fans may be asked to display the contents of their clothing, purses, bags and packages.
There is a list of prohibited items that include no professional cameras, video or recording equipment. Laser pointers, outside food and drink, umbrellas, noisemakers, selfie sticks or signs permitted without prior approval.
