Top ranked Nebraska can clinch a tie for the Big Ten regular season volleyball championship Wednesday night when the Huskers visit second ranked Minnesota.
“This is a big week”, said Nebraska coach John Cook. “Minnesota plays us and Wisconsin and everybody is fighting to get into the tournament and get a seed. There are some big matches this week.”
The Huskers are riding a 14-match winning streak and are 17-1 in conference play.
“We pride ourselves on being consistent and preparing the same and treating each match the same”, added Cook. “That gives us the opportunity to be consistent throughout this conference.”
The Gophers are 15-3 and need a win and some help to grab a share of the crown. Third ranked Wisconsin currently is second in the league race.
