A rare November tornado damaged some farm buildings in south-central Nebraska.
The National Weather Service confirms a tornado touched down Sunday afternoon in Webster County, which borders Kansas.
The tornado hit around 4:30pm northeast of Red Cloud. It overturned outbuildings, but did no structural damage to a farm house. No injuries were reported.
Spotters reported to the NWS that the tornado traveled into neighboring Nuckolls County near Lawrence before bouncing north into Clay County near Deweese.
The NWS reports it is just the fifth time a tornado has been reported in Nebraska during November since 1950, though one of those occurred last year. A tornado touched down November 16th near Beaver City in Furnas County last year.
