The defending national champion Nebraska volleyball team looks to take another step toward the Final Four when the top seeded Huskers host 16th-seeded Penn State in Friday morning’s regional semifinal at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Nebraska coach John Cook says it is a loaded regional that also includes Washington.
“So there is nine of the last 11 national championships from those schools”, said Cook. “We understand that. We know the level we are going to have to play at and these players have been preparing since January.”
The Huskies will play Arizona in the other regional semifinal. The winners will meet Saturday at 3:00p.m. for the right to advance to the Final Four in Columbus, Ohio.
