Nebraska snapped 16th ranked Indiana’s 26-game home court winning streak with a stunning 87-83 win in Assembly Hall.
“I don’t know that we have arrived but it should be a great shot in the arm”, said Nebraska coach Tim Miles. “It should give us a great deal of confidence that there are a certain way of doing things.”
The loss was the Hoosier’s first at home since a March 7, 2015 setback to Michigan State.
“I am real comfortable being in an environment like this”, said Indiana coach Tom Crean. “I am real comfortable when you hit adversity. It’s one game.”
Glynn Watson Jr. scored 26 points to lead the Huskers and Tai Webster added 21 as Nebraska improves to 7-6.
