The city of Omaha settled a $175,000 lawsuit brought about by a former public works employee who accused supervisors in the traffic division of sexual harassment and discrimination. City Engineer Todd Pfitzer says that is unacceptable behavior.
Pfitzer says, “When this came to light, as soon as it came to light that there were supervisors that acted in this manner they were removed immediately.”
Pfitzer goes on to say that type of behavior is 100% unacceptable.
Traci Shelby claimed that when she applied for a full time position, other employees were given a copy of the test and the answers before the exam. A new test has now been written for the hiring process.
