A man has been sentenced to life in prison for the death of two people during a botched robbery.
54-year-old Michael Nolt had been found guilty earlier in the deaths of 26-year-old Malquan King and 23-year-old Arelius Hassell.
Prosecutors say Nolt shot Hassell after a brief argument during a 2015 robbery in Omaha. He shot two others who hid in a closet; King died, the other person was injured. Six children in the home were not harmed.
Nolt was sentenced in Douglas County District Court to life in prison, plus 126 years.
