Papillion State Senator Bill Kintner is receiving a lot of criticism for retweeting a message from a California talk show host that made fun of the appearances of three women taking part in the Women’s March. Jane Kleeb is the chairperson of the Nebraska Democratic Party and she is appalled by his actions – again.
Kleeb says, “He is a disgusting representation of the Republican Party. The Republicans I know don’t treat women like that and don’t even make stupid jokes like that. I think he should of been gone when he was found to be illegally using his state computer with a foreign sex worker.”
Kintner admitted to having cybersex with the women and was fined $1,000 but refused to resign.
Kleeb says the Nebraska Democratic Party is also taking issue with a bill that she says is a total waste of government money. The bill would force the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services to put up videos of what abortions do to women. She says there are already videos like that available on the internet at no charge. There is a protest rally on February 2nd to protest Kintner and that bill.
