Nebraska will try to snap a four-game losing skid with a visit to Northwestern. The Huskers are 3-4 in the league race after back-to-back one point losses to Ohio State and Rutgers.
“Obviously coming off two one point losses in the last seconds of each game is tough and kind of a numbing feeling”, said sophomore forward Michael Jacobson. “We have just tried to promote work and getting through it together.”
Nebraska’s skid began with a 74-66 loss at home to Northwestern back on January 8. That win triggered a four game winning streak for the Wildcats.
“I think they game plan offensively about as well as anybody”, said Nebraska coach Tim Miles. “They have done a nice job on our guards too defensively with their length. They have been a good defensive team.”
It will be a 7:06p.m. tipoff in Welsh-Ryan Arena. The game will be televised by the Big Ten Network.
