A 41-year-old died in a central Nebraska crash which caused multiple injuries as well as the fatality.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office reports Terrill Sorensen of Cairo died at the scene, Nebraska Highway 2 and Schauppsville Road, about 20 miles northwest of Grand Island.
The preliminary accident investigation indicates a car driven by 23-year-old Brandon Salyers of Grand Island crossed the center line and veered into the eastbound lane, running into an eastbound car driven by 29-year-old Colleen Race of North Platte. Sorensen was a passenger in Race’s car.
Race, Salyers, and a passenger in his car, 22-year-old Jesse Adams, were all taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
The accident, which occurred yesterday evening, remains under investigation.
