A manhunt continues in western Nebraska and northeastern Colorado for a Denver teen authorities want to question as they investigate a murder in Ogallala.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of 25-year-old John Fratis of Ogallala.
Keith County Attorney Randy Fair says Fratis died of stab wounds early Tuesday morning after a fight with another man.
Two roommates of Fratis are being held in the Keith County Jail on charges of aiding and abetting murder.
Authorities say 28-year-old Raylynn Garcia and 32-year-old Larry Derrera hindered the investigation by either lying or withholding information.
The Nebraska State Patrol says it continues to look for 15-year-old Amedeus Leroux, wanted for questioning in the death of Fratis.
NSP says the image of Leroux was captured in surveillance images from an Ogallala convenience store Tuesday morning not long after authorities found Fratis’ body in his home. Those images have been released to the news media. Fratis is believed to be in southwestern Nebraska or northeastern Colorado.
