The Creighton baseball team will be out to post its first victory in Lincoln since 2010 when the Bluejays visit Nebraska. It will be the first of three games this season between the in-state rivals.
The Huskers enter having won 10 of their last 13 games, including this past weekend when they posted two victories and a tie in a Big Ten series at Indiana.
Creighton is 8-14 on the season after dropping two of three games to Winthrop over the weekend.
It will be the 135th all-time meeting between the Huskers and Jays, with Nebraska holding a 83-49-2 advantage. The Huskers took 2-of-3 from the Jays last season and have won five straight against the Jays at Hawks Field.
The final two games of the season series will be played at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha on Tuesday, April 18 and Wednesday, May 10.
