Authorities in the eastern Nebraska say -no- charges will be filed after the accidental death of a child who was caught in a vehicle window.
The Colfax County Attorney says three-year-old Everton Romero died on Friday at an Omaha hospital.
His mother had left the child in a parked car while she shopped in the town of Schuyler with the rear window powered down.
The boy put his head out the window and the button closed the window on his neck. It’s unclear how long he was trapped.
It happened on April 15th and the boy never regained consciousness.
Officials say no autopsy was done as there’s no evidence of a crime.
