The rapid rise of the Concordia baseball program has reached another milestone under third year coach Ryan Dupic. The Bulldogs won the Great Plains Athletic Conference regular season title with a record of 19-9. It is the program’s first conference title in 31 years.
“It is hard to put a timetable on that stuff”, said Dupic. “You certainly hope it happens quickly but yeah I mean it caught me by surprise a little bit.”
The Bulldogs have set a school record for wins in each of Dupic’s three seasons as coach and at 30-19 overall will host the GPAC Tournament. No matter what happens in the conference tournament the Bulldogs have already qualified for the program’s first trip to the national tournament.
