Nebraska baseball coach Darin Erstad says the Huskers turned the page at practice this morning to their next challenge. After winning the Big Ten regular season title over the weekend the Huskers open the Big Ten Tournament at Indiana on Wednesday afternoon against eighth seeded Purdue.
“That feeling of winning is great but we have got to get back to business”, said Erstad. “We have started that process and we will be there by Wednesday for sure.”
The regular season title was the first for the Huskers since winning the Big-12 championship in 2005.
“I am excited they got to experience that because they will have that moment for the rest of their lives”, added Erstad. “It is special when you get to be part of a team accomplishment.”
