One person is dead, another is listed in critical condition after a weekend crash in southwestern Nebraska.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports 23-year-old Aaron Jones of Cambridge was pronounced dead at the scene, a gravel road near Indianola in Red Willow County.
NSP reports the single-vehicle crash occurred very early Sunday morning when Jones lost control of his truck on the gravel road. Neither Jones nor his passenger, 19-year-old Holly Myers of Horace, Kansas, were wearing seat belts. Both were ejected.
Myers has been taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney where she was listed in critical condition.
NSP reports alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
