Officials in southern Nebraska are releasing the name of the woman whose body was found in a Phelps County cornfield in early July.
The woman is identified as 51-year-old Cynthia Lammers of Kearney.
The body was found in the field July 11th by an agronomist near the town of Funk.
Investigators say Lammers was the victim of a homicide but they’ve provided no further details. No arrests have been made.
A final autopsy report has not been released.
