Off to its best start in program history the UNO men’s soccer team hosts cross-town rival Creighton. The Mavericks are off to their best start in program history at 7-1-1 and are 4-0 at home, including a 5-1 victory over then No. 17 Virginia Tech. UNO is 2-0-1 on the road and 1-1 at neutral sites.
The Bluejays are 5-3-0 (1-1 Big East) this season. Creighton has won two straight games after dropping a 3-2 overtime decision at Butler on Sept. 16. Head coach Elmar Bolowich claimed his 100th victory as head coach at Creighton with a 2-0 win over Villanova on Saturday.
Tuesday is the second all-time meeting between Omaha and Creighton, and the first at Caniglia Field. Last season, the Mavericks and Bluejays played to a 1-1 draw at Morrison Stadium.
