The Department of Correctional Services says the prison had returned to normal operations on Thursday after an investigation into the suspected use of synthetic marijuana prompted officials to place it under modified operations. Suspected K2 use re-surfaced, causing officials to revert to modified operations to investigate.
Inmates housed in units 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8 will have no visits through Sunday.
Housing units 1, 4, and 5 continue to operate normally.
Officials first placed the prison in modified operations and cancelled visits Sunday.
There have been at least 15 inmates suspected of using K2.
An investigation into how K2 got into the prison continues.
