A six hour standoff in northeastern Nebraska ended early this morning after a Nebraska State Patrol SWAT Team broke into a home and arrested a Norfolk man.
NSP reports 27-year-old Davion Seizys barricaded himself in a home off a rural road in Wayne County, about five miles northwest of Hoskins, after Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to arrest him last night.
NSP SWAT arrived at the scene, 55833 8534rd Road in Wayne County, after Seizys barricaded himself in the upstairs of the residence. NSP set up a perimeter around the residence and began SWAT procedures around 7pm Wednesday. Authorities believed Seizys to be armed.
After Seizys refused to come out, the SWAT Team went in. Officers arrested Seizys without incident around 1:30am.
NSP used K9 units, a helicopter, even a robot in ending the standoff.
Seizys has been turned over to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
