Cass County authorities now accuse the man who led them to the body of a Florida woman in August of helping her commit suicide.
Matthew Stubbendieck has been charged with assisted suicide in the death of Alicia Wilemon-Sullivan. She was 38.
Stubbendieck led investigators to the body of Wilemon-Sullivan in a wooded area outside of Weeping Water August 5th.
Investigators accuse Stubbendieck of arranging to fly Wilemon-Sullivan from Florida to Nebraska to commit suicide. Stubbendieck indicated Wilemon-Sullivan, his girlfriend, had cancer.
Authorities accuse Stubbendieck of failing to notify law enforcement of Wilemon-Sullivan’s death for three days.
