Lincoln police are asking the public to help find two people wanted for questioning in the disappearance of a young Lincoln woman.
24-year-old Sydney Loofe has been missing since November 16th. Her parents say she was to meet with someone she met online the night before. Police have confirmed Loofe was last seen in Wilber, 40 miles southwest of Lincoln on the 15th.
Lincoln Police Chief Jeff Bliemester says authorities need the public’s help locating 23-year-old Bailey Boswell and 51-year-old Aubrey Trail.
“Bailey Boswell and Aubrey Trail are two people that we need to speak with, and (we) believe may have additional information concerning Sydney’s whereabouts,” Bliemeister tells reporters during a media briefing.
Bliemeister declines to say how the two might be connected to Loofe’s disappearance.
A police news release describes the two as “persons of interest identified during the investigation.”
Lincoln police have provided some identifying marks on Loofe, including a yin-yang tattoo on one of her forearms and the word “Believe” with a cross on the inside of her left wrist. She also has the phrase, “Everything will be wonderful someday,” on her right bicep.
She is 5-foot-7 and weighs 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white Columbia jacket and a cream-colored shirt.
Trail and Boswell recently lived in Wilber, but have ties to a number of other states.
Trail is described as 6 feet tall. He weighs approximately 284 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Boswell is described as 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
