The National Weather Service forecasts partly cloudy skies early this morning before clearing later in the day. The highs should be in the mid-50s in eastern and central Nebraska and near 50 degrees in western Nebraska. High temperatures will remain about 10 degrees above normal for much of this week.
Temperatures on Monday broke records. The high in north-central Nebraska’s Valentine hit 84, according to the NWS. Official weather stations across Nebraska reported records on Monday.
