An Omaha teenager has been arrested in connection to a November 9th murder. 18 year old Tyjanae Allen was booked into Douglas County Corrections for 1st degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony in the death of Julio Cesar-Ortega.
Last month, an officer returning to the Northeast Police Assembly at 30th and Ames Avenue saw a suspicious vehicle parked in their west lot. The officer approached the vehicle and located a deceased person inside. Investigators determined that Cesar-Ortega did not sustain the fatal injuries at the precinct. They say he was assaulted at another location and was taken to the Northeast Precinct where he died from his wounds.
The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact the Omaha Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 402-444-5656 or Crime Stoppers at 402-444 STOP.
