Creighton looks to bounce back from a lopsided loss at Xavier by hosting BIG EAST leader and 19th ranked Seton Hall. Center Angel Delgado has been a key for a veteran Seton Hall team by averaging more than 14 points and nearly 12 rebounds.
“He has willed them to a couple of wins and one of them being our game in New Jersey”, said Creighton coach Greg McDermott. “That senior class has had their way with us and they have had their way with a lot of people. We will have our hands full but it is a great opportunity.”
The Pirates average 80.0 points per game while allowing just 69.9 per contest. SHU outrebounds foes by 4.9 rebounds per contest and shoots 47.8 percent from the floor, 37.1 percent from three-point range and 66.8 percent at the line.
Creighton is a perfect 11-0 at home, with nine double-digit victories, outscoring foes 93.5 – 66.8 in those contests in Omaha.
