Kenneth Brummond, an 87-year-old man from Rosalie, in Thurston County, has been found.
“Very near to his home on the property, so that was a good news result,” Col. John Bolduc, Nebraska State Patrol superintendent, announced to news reporters.
He says Brummond was located Tuesday morning by a relative.
The search for the man, who suffers from dementia, began after he did not show up for a doctor’s appointment Monday.
State Senator Lydia Brasch, whose district includes Thurston County, says Brummond was cold, but safe.
“Kenneth is an outstanding neighbor, a veteran, a farmer, and a survivor, now, of that terrible blizzard,” Brasch said in a statement on the floor of the legislature.
