A 29-year-old Omaha man died in a one-vehicle crash Sunday night in which it appears the car went airborne and landed on its roof in a creek bed.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reports 29-year-old Adam Bortle died at the scene, 72nd Street and Dutch Hall Road. The office says Bortle was traveling south on 72nd, approaching Dutch Hall Road when it appears he lost control as he crossed the intersection. The vehicle crossed the center line, left the roadway, went airborne, and landed in the creek.
