Nebraska state troopers have seized 9,550 hash oil cartridges with an estimated street value of $238,000 at a rest area on Interstate 80.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports a loaded, concealed handgun also has been taken and a Louisiana man arrested.
According to NSP, a trooper speaking with a man at the eastbound rest area on I-80 near Brady Friday grew suspicious and asked permission to search his vehicle. The trooper found four large boxes containing hash oil vape pen cartridges as well as the handgun.
58-year-old David Poarch of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, faces numerous charges; both drug and firearms charges. He has been jailed in Lincoln County.
