Congressman Don Bacon is holding a tele-town hall tonight for residents of the 2nd Congressional District. Communications Director Danielle Jensen says this is a convenient way for the congressman to hear from all he represents.
Jensen says, “For those who may not be able to attend a town hall in person whether it is due to work scheduling or may not be able to get out of their residence to attend one. They can call in. The congressman will give them an update on what is happening in Washington D.C. and then they will be able to ask questions.”
More than 3,000 people participated in the last two tele-town hall meetings.
Jensen says Bacon will speak about ten minutes before taking questions. It starts at 6:30 tonight (Central Time) and typically lasts about an hour. Constituents wanting to take part should call in a few minutes before it starts. The number to call is 1-888-476-4181.
