This partnership is the USSTRATCOM Strategic Leadership Fellows Program.
Congressman Fortenberry says, “I really want to commend the UNO Business School for having this program with the STRATCOM Fellows. As I understand it the only program like it in the country where you have a major combatant command integrated with a university system where Fellows are learning.”
The program provides leadership and management skills to civilian employees at STRATCOM. The education is provided from faculty from across UNO’s system and they visit with local businesses, nonprofits and with members of the government throughout the 13 week course.
Fortenberry also shared is insight as a federal legislator on current national security issues, threats facing the United States, the current political environment and the importance of strong leadership.
