The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with former Redskins linebacker and former Husker Will Compton. The details of the contract were not made available.
Compton has played in 57 games and has made 33 starts in his five-year NFL career. He played in nine games with three starts in 2017, but he suffered a separated shoulder early in the season, and a Lisfranc sprain later in the year and was placed on Injured Reserve.
He initially joined the Redskins an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska in 2013. Compton had 247 career-tackles with the Huskers. That ranks 12th all-time in school history. He was also a two-time all Big Ten selection.
