Nebraska men’s basketball coach Tim Miles announced to the Omaha World-Herald on Thursday afternoon that sophomore forward Isaiah Roby is entering his name for the 2018 NBA Draft.
Roby is not hiring an agent, which maintains his college eligibility.
On March 27, James Palmer, Jr. and Isaac Copeland announced their intentions to declare for the draft, but neither of them hired an agent either.
The NBA combine takes place May 16-20 in Chicago, with the draft on June 21. All players have until May 30 to decide either to move forward in the draft process, or to withdraw their names and keep their eligibility.
In the 2017-18 season, Roby averaged 8.7 points and a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game. He also averaged a team-best two blocks per contest.
Roby, a Dixon, Ill. native, shot 56 percent from the field in 2017-18 and 40 percent from beyond the arc.
