A 31-year-old Norfolk man has been sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison on firearms and drug charges.
The United States Attorney’s Office reports Chadwick Board pleaded guilty after a search warrant executed by Madison County Sheriff’s investigators at his residence uncovered 23 firearms and drug paraphernalia indicating methamphetamine distribution.
Federal prosecutors report the search on March 2nd last year discovered handguns, sawed-off shotguns, and assault rifles. At the time, Board was a convicted felon known to be distributing methamphetamine from the residence, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Another five-year prison term was tacked on, because Board possessed a firearm in connection with drug trafficking. Board will have to undergo five years of supervised release after serving his prison sentence.
