An airman at Offutt Air Force Base has been sentenced to life in military prison with the possibility of parole for killing a fellow airman.
Airman 1st Class 21-yeaar-old Timothy M. Wilsey pleaded guilty earlier this month to the premeditated murder of Airman 1st Class 20-year-old Rhianda N. Dillard, under Article 118 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and desertion under Article 85 of the UCMJ.
Wilsey also has been issued a dishonorable discharge. He must forfeit of all pay and allowances. He has been reduced in grade to E-1, and a reprimand.
Wilsey confessed to killing Dillard as the two watched television in her Offutt Air Force Base dorm room, choking her to death. Wilsey was a member of the 55th Strategic Communications Squadron.
Wilsey fled Offutt after the murder and was captured about two weeks later.
