The unemployment rate for Nebraska last month was unchanged.
Eighteen hundred more Nebraskans found work last month, as the unemployment rate held steady at 2.8 percent from February to March, according to the Nebraska Department of Labor.
Compared to March of last year, the state’s jobless rate has improved by 0.2 percent.
Month to month unemployment was unchanged in the Lincoln area as well, which is 2.6 percent.
The national seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for March was 4.1 percent, unchanged from the February 2018 rate of 4.1 percent and down 0.4 percentage points from the March 2017 rate of 4.5 percent.
