Omaha police are searching for the driver in a hit-and-run accident Monday at 5:41 p.m. at Fontenelle Blvd and Curtis Avenue that critically injured a two year old boy.
The investigation shows that 18 year old Mar’keshia Devers was driving a Buick Lucerne on Fontenelle Blvd and was driving through a green light at the intersection when she was hit by a Chevy Trailblazer.
Witnesses say the driver and a passenger in the Chevy took off from the crash scene on foot. Two year old Devon Morris suffered critical injuries to his chest and head. Five year old Steven Russell suffered a broken leg. Another passenger in the Buick, 16 year old Talesha Glover-Flakes was treated for a non-life threatening head injury.
