The man accused of killing Sidney Loofe of Lincoln made a court appearance today in Saline County Court. Aubrey Trail made the decision to retain his stand-by council, Joseph Murray and Benjamin Murray, instead of defending himself.
Trail is charged with first degree murder and disposal of human skeletal remains. He is being held without bail and the case was bound over to District Court
Bailey Boswell is facing the same charges and appeared in court today via video monitor. The Nebraska Commission on Public Advocacy will be representing Boswell who is also being held without bond.
Sidney Loofe disappeared in November of last year. Her remains were found in garbage bags in a field near Clay Center in December.
