Heroin, estimated to be worth a quarter of a million dollars, has been seized from a Texas man in Omaha.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports investigators with the patrol and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office joint Criminal Interdiction Unit arrested 25-year-old Christian Molina of El Paso, Texas and seized 11 pounds of heroin.
NSP reports CIU investigators came into contact with Molina at a commercial transportation facility in Omaha. A search of his suitcase uncovered bundles of heroin. Investigators also found bundles of heroin strapped to his torso.
The heroin weighed 11 pounds and has an estimated street value of $250,000.
Molina has been jailed in Douglas County on numerous drug charges.
