A two-vehicle crash in northeastern Nebraska has claimed two lives, including the life of a small child.
The Nebraska State Patrol says a sport utility vehicle attempted to turn west from Highway 81 onto Highway 13 in Peirce County when it was stuck by a southbound semi.
The crash killed the driver of the SUV immediately. Three small children in the SUV suffered injuries. Two were taken to Faith Regional Health Services hospital in Norfolk; one died at the hospital. The third child was flown to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
The truck driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Identifications, even including ages and genders, are not being released at this time.
