Police report a motorcyclist died slamming into the side of a sport utility vehicle which turned in front of it late Thursday night in an Omaha intersection.
According to Omaha police, 25-year-old Evan Welsh of Omaha, died at the scene, the intersection of Harrison Street and 180th Street.
Omaha police report its officers along with Sarpy County deputies responded to the scene.
Welsh was riding west on Harrison, according to the police report, when he entered the intersection with 180th. An eastbound SUV attempted to turn north on 180th when the motorcycle hit the side of the SUV.
Charges are pending against the driver of the SUV, 17-year-old Dalton Glenn of Omaha.
