Two more have been taken into custody in connection with the burglary of the south Lincoln home of Husker Head Football Coach Scott Frost.
One of the two is a juvenile.
Police have arrested 20-year-old Andrew Williams and taken into custody a 16-year-old boy. A 17-year-old is suspected of being the driver in the burglary.
Court documents indicate investigators had been questioning the girl about other burglaries when they became suspicious she was involved in the break-in at the Frost residence.
Lincoln police believe the burglars gained entry through an unlocked garage door July 27th. The house is under renovation and the Frost family has yet to move in.
Frost initially thought thieves had taken 14 championship rings from both Nebraska and Oregon. Those items later were found. Police do believe approximately $50,000 worth of shoes, football helmets, and artwork were taken.
A police officer says he found green Nike athletic shoes along with other items believed to have been taken from the Frost residence in Williams’ possession.
The cases against the two teens have been turned over to the Lancaster County Attorney’s Office.
Police are not looking for any other suspects.
