A teen-ager has been charged with misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide for causing a fatal motorcycle wreck in Omaha earlier this month.
The Douglas County Attorney’s Office filed the charge against 17-year-old Dalton Glenn.
Omaha police reported a motorcyclist died slamming into the side of a sport utility vehicle which turned in front of it late in the evening August 2nd at an Omaha intersection.
According to Omaha police, 25-year-old Evan Welsh of Omaha, died at the scene, the intersection of Harrison Street and 180th Street.
Omaha police report its officers along with Sarpy County deputies responded to the scene.
Welsh was riding west on Harrison, according to the police report, when he entered the intersection with 180th. An eastbound SUV, driven by Glenn, attempted to turn north on 180th when the motorcycle hit the side of the SUV.
