Congressman Jeff Fortenberry says a U.S Veterans Affairs decision on the location of a new clinic in eastern Nebraska should be welcome news for the community.
Fortenberry says the decision decided to build the clinic in Lincoln at the city’s V.A hospital campus is good news that’s been a long time coming.
“We have worked for a very long while now on the prospects of the new V.A clinic being on the old historic site,” says Fortenberry. “I think it just will spur more types of creative development and proper land use with that historic space while preserving the historical amenities of the area.”
The new clinic would replace the current clinic operated from the old VA hospital.
