Wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey is leaving the Nebraska football program.
A top-rated recruit two years ago, Lindsay requested and was granted his release yesterday.
The sophomore played in all four of the Cornhuskers games this season and had just three catches for 22 yards.
He was replaced on punt returns and lost playing time last week to walk-on Kade Warner.
Lindsey will be allowed to take a redshirt season and retain three years of eligibility after sitting out in 2019 at another school.
