Drug busts along I-80 in western Nebraska net 5,000 THC hash oil vape cartridges

State troopers have seized numerous drugs, including 5,000 THC hash oil vape cartridges, during three separate stops in western Nebraska on Interstate 80.

The THC hash oil vape cartridges were seized during a stop Saturday afternoon when a trooper pulled over a vehicle which didn’t move over for an emergency vehicle. The trooper detected the odor of marijuana. The cartridges were taken, along with an ounce of suspected khat.

New York and 43-year-old Sarhan Abdullah of New Haven, Connecticut face a number of drug charges. Both have been jailed in Lincoln County.

A trooper found 26 pounds of marijuana in the luggage of a car he pulled over late Sunday afternoon for speeding on I-80.

Thirty-eight-year-old Keshi Wu of Alameda, California and 36-year-old Minchao Yu of Brooklyn, New York have been arrested on several drugs charges and have been jailed in Kimball County.

Late Monday afternoon, a trooper pulled over an eastbound car for speeding on I-80. A search of the vehicle disclosed 55 packages of marijuana inside bags in the cargo area weighing around 55 pounds.

The driver, 40-year-old Viktoria Belan of Mount Prospect, Illinois has been charged with possession and jailed in Lincoln County.
