A 31-year-old Lincoln man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for dealing meth a week after his wife was sentenced to five years in prison for her part in dealing the drug.
The United States Attorney’s Office reports Jason Floyd Novotny will be placed on five years of supervised release after serving his prison term.
Federal prosecutors say informants told investigators Novotny distributed at least 1.5 kilograms, or about three pounds, of methamphetamine mixture. Others were involved in the sales between the start of 2013 and the end of 2016, including his wife, Carly Pickel.
Pickel pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute 50 grams of methamphetamine mixture.
