Nebraska State Patrol troopers have seized hundreds of pounds of marijuana as well as other THC products during a couple of traffic stops.
On Saturday afternoon, a trooper stopped a car traveling east on I-80 near Sutherland for speeding. A search of the vehicle led to the confiscation of 45 pounds of high-grade marijuana and 1,732 THC oil vape cartridges.
Thirty-one-year-old Joshua Panther of Chattanooga, Tennessee has been arrested on several drug charges.
Another trooper, with assistance from Otoe County Sheriff’s deputies, found 164 pound of high-grade marijuana, 500 units of THC shatter, 500 units of THC oil, and 4,700 units of THC blunts in a vehicle pulled over early Sunday afternoon near Dunbar on Highway 2.
The driver, 36-year-old George Wood of Gibsonton, Florida, and his passenger, 30-year-old Wimauma, Florida, have numerous drug charges.
